After much reflection, Delegate Anne Healey has announced that she will not seek re-election to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2026, concluding nine terms representing District 22 and more than 35 years of public service. First elected in 1990, Delegate Healey has been a leading advocate for working families, organized labor, civil rights, public education, health care access, environmental protection, and equity for vulnerable communities. She will continue serving through the remainder of her term and expressed deep gratitude to the residents of District 22 for the trust placed in her, while voicing confidence in the district’s future and its current leadership.
